Rui (April) Dai is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Multimedia Networking and Computing Lab at University of Cincinnati. She has over 15 years of research experience in multimedia communications and networking. During the past few years, Dr. Dai’s research group has produced many results on the prediction and the control of video quality in networked systems. Dr. Dai’s current research interest includes video quality assessment, quality of experience (QoE) for multimedia communications, and immersive media (e.g., Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality).
