Chief Fale started his fire service career in 1996 as a firefighter intern with Lake Oswego. He received his paramedic certificate in 1998 and was hired by the City of McMinnville as a firefighter/paramedic. In 2001, Patrick started his service with Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue. Patrick has held every rank up to his current position of Assistant Chief, where he oversees governmental affairs, community risk reduction, and fire and life safety. Patrick worked much of his career as a hazmat team member and has been afforded many growth opportunities including leading academies, working on community consolidation initiatives, and being deployed as interim fire chief to Western Washington County. Chief Fale earned an associate’s degree in fire Suppression from Portland Community College and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from George Fox University.
