With over twenty-nine years of federal civilian service, Lance Brown is the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) National Wireless Program (NWP) COR II and team lead. He worked for the Bureau of Prisons for eight years before joining the FAA. Lance’s primary responsibility as the NWP COR is to handle contracts for satellite, mobile, deployable, and wireless communication services for over 20,000 devices, of which FirstNet accounts for more than 16,000. Lance ensures the FAA stays ahead of technological advancements to support its workers worldwide. He received a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Lance has been the chairman of the Canadian County Water Authority board for 12 of his 14 years of service.
