Eudald Sangenis is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Irvine, affiliated with the Microsystems Laboratory. His research aims to improve inertial navigation systems by incorporating machine learning techniques and to create path-planning algorithms that utilize augmented reality technology, specifically designed to assist pedestrians. Eudald obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial electronics and automatic control engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain. He then received his master’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He was a recipient of the Balsells Graduate Fellowship and the Holmes Fellowship.
