Sean McDevitt is a leading decision-maker, advisor, and thought leader in the telecommunications industry with three decades of international management consulting and operations experience spanning several global markets.
In addition to his role as a Board Member of the FirstNet Authority, Sean is a partner at global management consultancy Arthur D. Little (ADL), where he leads their USA TIME (Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media and Electronics) practice. Sean’s clients — top telecom operators, suppliers, private equity, and infrastructure funds — turn to his expertise for critical business decisions regarding strategic initiatives, investment due diligence, market entry, spectrum auctions, and a full range of broadband (wireless, cable/MSO, fiber) growth opportunities.
At ADL, he has been pivotal in driving ADL’s growth and re-emergence as one of the premier management consulting firms in the USA. Since re-entering the market in 2017, ADL now counts 5 of the top 10 USA telecom operators as clients. Sean also leads the firm’s recruiting efforts and has had an instrumental role in building the ADL USA team and company culture. Sean was recognized by The Consulting Report as one of The Top 25 Technology Consultants and Leaders in both 2023 and 2024.
Sean is also a Level 4 Tenured (highest level) USA Hockey/NIHOA/NCAA certified On-Ice Official for youth, high school, college, and disabled ice hockey. Sean recently officiated both the 2024 and 2023 USA Hockey Sled/Para National Championships and is a regular league official for the NorthEast Sled Hockey League.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts in classics and business economics from Brown University and his Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
