About this Speaker

Scott Ledgerwood leads the User Experience portfolio (UX) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Public Safety Communications Research Division (NIST PSCR). Scott is focused on improving usability and user interface testing for first responders. His team develops new test methodologies for first responder technologies, such as leveraging virtual and augmented reality, and conducts research and development for improving factors of public safety user experiences, including image/video quality and usability. Ledgerwood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied information technology from George Mason University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellevue University, and a Master of Science degree in telecommunications from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He joined the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2015.
