Rich Fiske has over 30 years of service in state and municipal public safety communications, law enforcement, and emergency management and currently serves as the Massachusetts Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) in the Executive Office of Public Safety & Security. He served in previous roles as the Director of Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Operations for the Massachusetts State 911 Department, the Director of Emergency Communications and Emergency Management in Worcester, Massachusetts, and as a full time Law Enforcement Officer in Massachusetts for more than 20 years. He is an active member of SAFECOM, the National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators (NCSWIC), and the International Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO). A lifetime Massachusetts resident, Rich studied Criminal Justice at Becker College and Western New England University, has numerous certifications and specialized training in Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Public Safety Communications, and Executive Leadership. He has a daughter in high school, and an adult son living in New York City.
