Noah G. Jaehnert is an Indianapolis-based technology and cybersecurity executive with 15+ years of experience in both technology/cybersecurity and public safety. He currently serves as the Director of Technology and Logistics for the Vernon Township Fire Department (VTFD), where he leverages over 15 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and emergency services to implement innovative technology solutions that enhance first responder capabilities. Noah also serves as a department firefighter, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector, and Safety Officer, and is spearheading the launch of the department’s uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) program as its drone program lead/pilot. Prior to VTFD, Noah was the Director of Emerging Technology for Indiana's Integrated Public Safety Commission (IPSC) where he served as the State's expert on emerging public safety communications technologies, initiatives, and related programs, as well as the agency's internal IT and Cybersecurity director. At IPSC, Noah partnered with state, local, and federal agencies to plan and deploy new and emerging communications technologies including Land Mobile Radio (LMR) to Long Term Evolution (LTE), P25 Inter-RF Sub-System Interface Technologies (e.g., Motorola’s Critical Connect), and P25 over Broadband (e.g., Motorola SmartConnect) – by bridging technology and emergency operations, Noah has helped both his own and other public safety agencies across Indiana adopt cutting-edge solutions to improve efficiency, security, and resilience.
