Joshua Keliikoa, Public Safety Manager at the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive law enforcement and military experience. Josh began his career in 1997 and served in a variety of assignments and recently departed the Washington State Department of Corrections Extraditions Unit. His experience as a Military Liaison Officer strengthens defense support among civil authorities for operations in incidents while working with state, local, federal emergency operations centers. Josh has worked in federal civilian capacity with the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Federal Reserve, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Justice, and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs law enforcement divisions. He maintains military certification for wildland firefighting and is always ready and poised to serve the citizens of this country being well rounded in multiple disciplines. Josh graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and collegiate studies. He understands the impacts to tribal communities that he supports in professional aspects as well as being a culturally involved as a Native Hawaiian.
