Aislynn Turner

Aislynn Turner began working in emergency management and interoperable communications with the Los Angeles Emergency Management Department in 2011, where she wrote disaster plans and helped support emergency support functions (ESF) #2 (Communications) and planning operations during activations at the Emergency Operations Center. She continued this work with a Los Angeles-based consulting firm until moving to Atlanta with her husband in 2014, where she worked for Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) as their FirstNet Program Manager. She continues connecting public safety through broadband communications in her current role at the FirstNet Authority as a Senior Public Safety Advisor. She has an MPA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Public Policy and International Comparative Studies from Duke University.
