COTAK: A free common operating picture for Colorado’s emergency responders

This demonstration will highlight the Colorado Team Awareness Kit, commonly known as COTAK™, a free iOS, Android, Windows, and web-based service for all Colorado public safety agencies, providing real-time location information to emergency responders. Displaying users as dots on a map, COTAK uses the GPS available in smartphones and tablets to assist emergency responders in locating themselves, their team members, and other enrolled agency personnel, providing enhanced situational awareness and team coordination.
