5G-IPS: 5G-based indoor positioning system in GPS-limited scenarios

The demo will showcase a 5G-based indoor positioning system (dubbed 5G-IPS) using NI software defined radio (SDR) with the Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) method. TDoA determines the location of user equipment (UE) by analyzing the time differences in the arrival of the reference signal at multiple base stations (gNB). OpenAirInterface (OAI) framework provides integrated TDoA positioning capabilities based on 3GPP procedures.
