AI and cognition driven augmented reality search and rescue system

This demo will discover a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and cognition-driven augmented reality (AR) system designed for search and rescue. The system tracks each user’s cognitive load, an indicator of mental effort, and automatically adapts the AR interface to prevent overload. A built-in large language model (LLM), such as ChatGPT, “sees” the environment and converts complex tasks into clear, step-by-step AR animations. Visitors can observe demonstrations, learn how these adaptive visuals enhance situational awareness, and interact with the setup to understand how it streamlines rescue operations by simplifying communication and decision-making.
