About Brian Zierlein
Brian Zierlein is a Division Chief with 26 years of service at the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, including almost a decade of supervisory and management experience as a sergeant and commander across multiple divisions. He has managed complex investigations and projects, organizational problem-solving, process improvement and organizational systems design, and implementing technology in law enforcement. Notable accomplishments include major reclassification of the 911 dispatcher job title and executive-level oversight of several major technology-related projects. One of his professional goals is to ensure that 100% of Boulder County's first responders have access to reliable cellular and data connectivity—no matter how remote their location, even near the Continental Divide. He currently serves as the Support Services Division Chief overseeing the Records, Communications Radio Shop, Sheriff Computer Support, and Dispatch divisions of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office in Boulder, Colorado.
