This demonstration will have two simulated Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) drills – the first without the Ascent indoor location tracking technology and the second with it. The results of the time differences will be compared to see if understanding the location of first responders helps reduce the RIT time.
The project team will demonstrate the latest imagery and outputs from groundwork done in 2024 in partnership with the Boise Fire Department in Idaho. The GeoCam camera system will be displayed, as well as examples of the different kind of outputs that were created from the system.
