Session Type: Tech Demo

  • Reducing RIT Time Through GPS-Denied Location Tracking and Data Sharing

This demonstration will have two simulated Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) drills – the first without the Ascent indoor location tracking technology and the second with it. The results of the time differences will be compared to see if understanding the location of first responders helps reduce the RIT time.

  • Rapid, Scalable Outdoor and Indoor Machine Learning-Based Mapping of Fire Department Pre-Plans

The project team will demonstrate the latest imagery and outputs from groundwork done in 2024 in partnership with the Boise Fire Department in Idaho. The GeoCam camera system will be displayed, as well as examples of the different kind of outputs that were created from the system.

  • PulseRescue — The Future of Firefighter Localization for Safety and Coordination

The nav4you geolocation solution is based on a harmonious fusion of hardware and software, enabling unit managers to track the position of their operatives in real time and in all circumstances. This demonstration is based on the Pulsar tool, a unique hardware localization device worn on the user’s foot. The user’s trajectory and other contextual […]
