Tero Pesonen has been involved in global critical communications since 1997 in various management and leadership tasks involving strong customer intimacy, strategic business orientation and wide-ranging solution development. He was instrumental in promoting and organizing TETRA Interoperability activities enabling the technology to become a globally recognized trusted multivendor standard. Over the years he has acquired a deep understanding of the models to use public safety applications. Currently, Tero Pesonen leads groundbreaking work related to new opportunities in mission critical broadband. He works closely with major public safety and critical infrastructure operators and users in creating advanced solutions to meet mission critical requirements. Since September 2014 he has been the chairman of the The Critical Communications Association (TCCA) Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG), which brings different stakeholders together to create a common critical broadband future. He is also a TCCA Board Vice Chair representing the Finnish governmental public safety operator Erillisverkot. Tero Pesonen holds Masters of Science in electrical engineering and economics.
