William (Will) Drewery

William “Will” Drewery is the Emergency Management Coordinator for Isle of Wight County. Born and raised in the Western Tidewater area of Virginia, Will comes from a family deep rooted in public safety. As the Emergency Management Coordinator in Isle of Wight County, Will brings 20 years of Public Safety experience to bear when dealing with the all-hazards threat environment the county is prone to. Will’s background is largely rooted in Public Safety Communications having served in 911 Centers in the Tidewater area as well as the metro Richmond region. In his emergency management role, Will led the Virginia Department of Health’s COVID-19 response across four localities in southeastern Virginia. Will holds a master’s degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from the Virginia Commonwealth University and is recognized by the International Association of Emergency Managers as a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM).
