Tom Haus

Tom Haus, served with the Los Angeles City Fire Department for over 32 years training and commanding companies in urban, wildland, swift water, technical rescue, and dive rescue incidents. He has responded to disasters across the country and wildland fires throughout California. He has assisted the National Institute of Standards and Technology with emergency response robotics standards development since 2005 and continues this work as a Professional Research Experience Program Associate at the University of Maryland.
