Rick Petrie is the Chief Executive Officer for North East Mobile Health and the Director for the Jackman Critical Access Integrated Paramedic (CAIP) Program. He has worked in emergency medical services (EMS) for 43 years as a paramedic, dispatcher, educator, author, consultant, and administrator. CAIP is an innovative program that uses paramedics and telehealth to ensure healthcare access to the residents and visitors of the rural Jackman-Moose River Valley area 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The paramedics fill four primary roles, in conjunction with the local volunteer ambulance service and the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), to help fill the gaps in healthcare coverage.
