Judy Zhu

Dr. Qi “Judy” Zhu is a User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) researcher with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Public Safety Communications Research Division. She earned a Ph.D. in civil and coastal engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in computer science and information engineering from the National Taiwan University. Her research interests include mixed-reality-based simulation, human factors engineering for augmented cognitive and physical functions in human-robot collaboration tasks, and human-robot interaction designs for shared sensory perception.
