Jim Fiduccia

As a Response Operations Group (ROG) Section Chief, James (Jim) Fiduccia is responsible as the tactical lead for all requests from public safety for FirstNet coverage needs within his area of responsibility. He directs all activities toward identifying and implementing the appropriate solution(s) to meet customer requirements for both planned and emergent events. James is a specialist in deployable long-term evolution (LTE) communications equipment and technology and is adept at responding with and employing a wide variety of solutions.
Jim Fiduccia is a retired Lieutenant with a distinguished record of service within the Chicago Police Department with 28 years of diverse law enforcement experience. Jim was highly decorated from both the Chicago Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations for exemplary service. Jim’s unique law enforcement experience allows him a better understanding of the communication needs and the direction of public safety operations in these challenging and ever-changing times.
Jim holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois, and he also spent time as a legislative aid in the Illinois House of Representatives. Jim was born and raised in Chicago and the son of a distinguished Chicago police officer. Jim lives in the Chicago metropolitan area with his wife Rose Marie and twin boys Jonathan and James.
