R. Michael Buehrer

Dr. R. Michael Buehrer, Co-Principal Investigator, is a professor at Virginia Tech and an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Fellow for his contributions to wideband signal processing in communications and geolocation. Dr. Buehrer has worked on geolocation for over 15 years and is the co-author of a popular handbook on positioning. He has authored dozens of papers in the area of localization and is the co-inventor on three patents on cellular-based positioning.
