Qumars Eghaneyan has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a Master of Business Administration specialized in technology management. Beginning as a Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineer at Cricket Communications, Qumars played a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and deploying cellular networks nationwide. His work ensured seamless connectivity and enhanced communication capabilities for millions. Transitioning to the FirstNet Authority in 2013, Qumars brought his expertise to bear as a Long-Term Evolution RAN Subject Matter Expert. As a Senior Engineer at FirstNet, his contributions helped define the technical RAN requirements of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN) request for proposal, support coverage roadmap objectives, and contribute to achieving the Innovation and Investment goals. Qumars continues to assist with advancing public safety communications with a focus on innovation trials aimed at further potentially enhancing the NPSBN.
