Sgt. Jason Matthews is an All-Hazards Communications Unit Leader (COML) and Incident Management Team (IMT) Leader from the State of Florida. He currently works with local public safety agencies and organizations in the central Florida region. He brings 25 years of experience in public safety, disaster communications, planned events, and full-scale exercise support.
Jason is a credentialed communications unit instructor, and instructor trainer for FEMA Emergency Management Institute (EMI), and DHS Emergency Communications Division (ECD) courses. Jason also serves as vice chair of the interoperability committee for National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC).
