Ellen Wernicke

Ellen Wernicke currently serves as a 911 Liaison for the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council. Prior to her role with the Council, she served over 24 years at the Johnson County Emergency Communications Center in Kansas. She began her career with Johnson County in 1998, serving in operations and training roles, and later as the director of the center. Ellen has served on various local, regional, and state boards and committees serving the interests of the public safety communications professionals and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). She served as a member of the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council for 7 years, representing PSAPS serving a population of over 75,000.
