Unmanned Aerial Systems for First Responders

The Unmanned Aerial Systems for First Responders demonstration will include static displays of the solution used by the team in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s 5.0 Indoor Mapping Challenge. The displays will showcase two unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and a ground vehicle, the ground station including multiple displays for onboard video display, and the communication system comprised of the Wi-Fi router. This demonstration will also include a display of actual 3D maps generated at different locations and first person view, or FPV, video from the UAS. The team will also provide details of the UAS architecture and proposed improvements for the future.
