Join us for an overview of cellular and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) networks, focusing on fundamental concepts and radio signals within the context of FirstNet. Participants will gain an understanding of the functionality of cellular networks and how they compare with LMR systems. They will also explore similarities and differences between the technologies, delving into architectural, technical, and operational aspects. By enhancing their literacy regarding user experiences of the two networks, attendees will be empowered to make informed decisions and effectively use FirstNet. The session will explore the implementation of Quality of Service, Priority, and Preemption (QPP) and Mission Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT) on FirstNet.
