Top 10 Risks: Cybersecurity and AI Risk Management for UAS in Public Safety

Panel experts will discuss the management of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) risks associated with the use of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), or drones, in public safety. The panel will focus on the list of Top 10 questions that resulted from a survey conducted by the "Cybersecurity and AI Risk Management for UAS in Public Safety Working Group," during its kickoff workshop in February 2024. The goal of these questions is to help public safety management personnel — such as fire and police chiefs — to start the discussion with their Information Technology (IT) staff, vendors, and other people in the UAS ecosystem, around improving Cybersecurity and AI risk management in their agencies.
