Creating an LMR Data Set to Support MCX Modeling of Impact on 4G/5G

As some users transition from land mobile radio (LMR) to Mission Critical Voice, Data and Video (MCX) over 4G/5G, it is important to model the impact of the priority traffic on the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks. The combination of the point-to-point nature of LTE and the fact that more radiofrequency (RF) is being locked up, resource blocks make this modeling the key to dealing with large scale disasters. This demo explains how the datasets were collected, managed, made accessible, and where the data originated.
