AROC: Augmented Reality Operations Center for Public Safety

This demonstration will showcase a fully functional holographic operations center project/product running simultaneously on the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Magic Leap 2 headsets. This work is the culmination of efforts from the Public Safety Innovation Accelerator Program – Augmented Reality (PSIAP-AR) grant that concluded in 2023, as well as other active engagements with public safety stakeholders. In this demo, users will select from multiple “live” scenario storylines from historical and hypothetical events. Then, they’ll experience a next-generation command center with 3D terrain and visualizations, real-time data feeds, and collaboration features. They’ll also be able to watch this all from a cinematic view projected onto a 2D screen.
