Lance Hartung, through his efforts with the Wireless and Networking Systems (WiNGS) lab, has experience ranging from designing and deploying systems for connected vehicles to orchestrating software containers for distributed edge computing systems with a common theme of building systems that work seamlessly together and enable teams to collaborate and innovate. His research interests include exploring applications of edge computing to enhance collaborative augmented reality experiences, machine learning, and indoor localization and mapping. With the EasyVizAR project, Lance coordinates development activities on the various system components and ensures that they work together to create an intuitive and functional user experience.
