Drone Interoperability in Action: Lessons from Military and Mutual Aid Partnerships

This session will explore new drone autonomy programs with a specific focus on building a shared drone picture among military installations and local mutual aid partners. Come learn about tools to support friendly unmanned aircraft system (UAS) deconfliction and remote identification near military installations, as well as how UAS capabilities have enhanced critical incident response. This session will review best practices, highlight lessons learned through real-world examples, and share how agencies can improve their UAS program implementation, especially in a fiscally constrained medium-sized jurisdictions.
