Chuck Murph

Charles (“Chuck”) R. Murph, Jr. is a Senior Manager for the First Responder Network Authority. Before joining the FirstNet Authority, Chuck served as an Assistant Director of Homeland Security with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, while also serving as the state’s single point of contact designee for the FirstNet Authority and as the Statewide Interoperability Coordinator. He also worked closely with the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and local emergency management as the Program Manager for the Alabama Strategic Technology Reserve. His passion for serving first responders stems from his own background in public safety spanning several decades and includes service as a county emergency management director, volunteer firefighter, and rescue squad member. He completed the Executive Leaders Program at the Naval Postgraduate School and earned a bachelor’s in political science and government from Troy University.
