UI/UX XR Research Demonstrations

Join the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division’s extended reality (XR) team at the user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) demonstration table to see a number of different demonstrations on display. The demo will showcase an Augmented Reality Tracking Visualization prototype, which resulted from a collaboration between the UI/UX and Location-Based Services research portfolios. In this demo, attendees can explore point clouds from behind a headset and consider how first responders can incorporate point cloud visualizations into their operations. Stop by the table to try different XR experiences and engage with UI/UX developers and researchers.
