SearchAR: Cognition-tuned augmented reality wayfinding system

This demonstration will highlight SearchAR, an innovative augmented reality wayfinding system, with a suite of interactive features. Interactive mini-maps rovide users with real-time navigational maps. Landmarks and directional signage enables easy identification and following of key locations and directions. Hazard marking: alert users to potential dangers in their immediate environment. The WHISKER system is a novel tool for indicating the relative locations of targets. GlobalView Creates a “seeing through walls” effect that is particularly effective in larger spaces. Attendees will also see a demo of an integrated cognitive load analysis system, which is capable of monitoring the real-time cognitive load of users, tailoring the user interface to better suit their cognitive state.
